Sue Anne (Grumling) Mintchell

On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Sue Anne Grumling Dick Mintchell, 76, closed her eyes for the last time. She was born February 4th, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio.

On June 16th, 1978, she married Terry Mintchell from Jackson Center Ohio. She was the daughter of Robert & Laverne McLean-Grumling who preceded her in death. Her daughter, Renee Baldonasa and husband Terry Mintchell also preceded her in death. She is survived by four children Fred Mintchell, Aaron (Jenny) Dick, Kurt (Amy) Mintchell, Andrea (Gary) Wiley and grandchildren Garrett and Kodi Dick, Nicole, Justine, Emily, and Peyton Wiley, Sarah Mintchell, Mia Baldonasa. She survived by two great grandsons, Landon Reck and Phineas Wiley. She is also survived by two sisters, Dolores (Bob) Mast and Lynn (Mark) Hoffman.

She graduated from Wapakoneta High School class of 1966. Sue worked a variety of secretarial and HR jobs throughout the years as well as raising kids and caring for her family as a wonderful mother, wife, and sister.

Sue dedicated her life to Jehovah in baptism in July of 1959 and became one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a beloved Sister of the Sidney Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, actively encouraging those she met to learn what the Bible teaches about God's hope for the future.

"Sweet Sue" will be remembered as someone who would be there to help out, a great listener and became a friend to many. She was frequently called a kind soul. Truly she will be missed.

There will be a memorial at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, on Saturday March 30th, 2024. at 1PM. Visitation will begin at 11am for all friends and family with a reception following the memorial at the Sidney-Shelby County Senior Center.
