Pearlie M. Martin

Pearlie M. Martin, age 86, of Sidney, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Wilson Health in Sidney.  She was born on June 11, 1936 in Lawrenceburg, TN, to the late James and Ina (Sneed) Ratliff.  On July 28, 1950, she married Rev. Lilburn Martin and he preceded her in death on July 18, 2005.

Pearlie is survived by three children: Linda (Dennis) Baker of St. Paris, OH, Rev. Dennis Ray (Connie) Martin of Piqua, OH and Tina Weber of Sidney, OH; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and 2 siblings: Betty Jo Bonee and Wendell Ratliff, both of Lawrenceburg, TN.  In addition to her parents and husband, Pearlie was preceded in death by 2 sons: Danny Martin and Edgar “Chunk” Martin; 3 brothers; 6 sisters; and one grandson: Dennis Ray Martin, Jr.

Pearlie was a member of Mountain Assembly of God in Piqua, OH.  She retired from Copeland Corporation after 40 years.  Pearlie enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and reading her Bible.  She also loved going to church, wildlife and fishing.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH with  Rev. Jay Hill and Rev. Dennis Martin officiating.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
