Marilyn A. Sommer, age 80, of Sidney, passed away peacefully January 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 4, 1941 in Sidney, the daughter of Marion Baker and Martha (Tebbe) Baker. On September 10, 1960, she married Albert Sommer and he survives in Sidney.
Also surviving are daughters; Lois Sommer and significant other, Lisa Perrine of Sidney, Leslie (Jason) Hughes of Sidney, son, Joe Sommer of Troy, three grandchildren; Brandon Hughes, Devon Hughes, Collin Hughes, six great-grandchildren; Marley, Jordan, Addie, Phoenix, Emberly, Everett, sisters; Connie Rosenbeck of Sidney, Barb Burton of Sidney and brother, Ron (Debbie) Baker of Bellefontaine.
Marilyn was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Marilyn was a retired Librarian from the Amos Memorial Public Library and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She loved to travel with family and friends. She enjoyed painting pictures and getting together with her family for all family functions.
Private services will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family.
