Grace Leone Echols

Grace Leone (Cheatham) Echols, age 94, of Sidney, passed away on March 8, 2024, at Shelby Skill Nursing in Sidney.  She was born January 23, 1930, in Falkville, AL, to the late John Wesley and Lucille (Saine) Cheatham. 

Grace is survived by nine children: Diane (Joe) Allen of Sidney, Terry Echols of Sidney, Bob (Elaine) Echols of Sidney, Delores Webb of Orange Park, FL, Danny (Susan) Echols of Findlay, Ronald (Lisa) Echols of Sidney, Randy (Brenda) Echols of Sidney, Denise (Randy) Bryant of Norfolk, VA and Sherry Graves of Ft. Thomas, KY; 24 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and 31 great- great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John R. Echols; two daughters-in-law: Charlene Echols and Deborah Echols; one grandson: Travis Bryant; and one great grandson: Aiden Smart.

Grace retired from Copeland Corporation after 37 years.  She attended Northtown Church of God in Sidney.  Grace enjoyed bowling, gambling, playing bingo and spending time with the family.  She enjoyed listening to George Jones, Merle Haggard and going to Elvis Presley concerts.  Grace loved Cincinnati Reds baseball and Cincinnati Bengals football.  She always loved traveling and attending family reunions.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Pastor Carl McNeill officiating.  Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service in Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.
