Eunice G. Adkins

Eunice G. Adkins, age 86, of Sidney, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  She was born on February 19, 1936, in Washington County, VA, to the late Frank and Mary Francis (Prater) Buck.

Eunice is survived by Three children: Barbara Miracle of Sidney, Michael Adkins of Hayward, CA, and Rita Mikesell of Sidney; eight grandchildren: Lisa Hicks, Lee Miracle, Justin Mikesell, Chris Miracle, John Miracle, Craig Miracle, Kieran Adkins and Beth Mikesell; and two sister: Dottie Swab  of Sidney and Eula Blevins of Middletown.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Clyde E. Adkins on December 30, 2018; two sisters: Christine Spencer and Mary Osborne; and two grandchildren: Jason Felker and Amy Mikesell.

Eunice retired from Copeland Corporation after 33 years of faithful service.  She enjoyed cooking big meals and taking vacations in Florida, where she loved spending time on the beach.  Most of all, Eunice loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was of the Christian faith.

Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Pastor Chad Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
