Carol L. (Wildermuth) Wallace

Carol L. Wallace, age 88, of Port Jefferson, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 13, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.  She was born March 19, 1933 in Sidney to the late Herbert Wildermuth and Lorena (Staley) Wildermuth and raised by her late step-father Arthur Locker.

She married Jesse Wallace on November 18, 1953, and he preceded her in death January 19, 2014.  Carol is survived by sons; Tom (Jackie) Wallace of Peru, Indiana, Tim (Leslie) Wallace of Sidney, daughter Terri (John) Chiles of Sidney, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Lois (John) Wilcox of Sidney, Judy (Don) Fahnestock of Mt. Dora, Florida.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, and a brother Larry Wildermuth and sister-in-law Charlotte Wildermuth.

She was a member of the Connection Point Church in Sidney.  Carol was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, crafting, and working cross word puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral service will commence at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
