Barbara Jean (Foster) Lee

Barbara Jean Lee, age 79, of Sidney, was called Home on January 16, 2021 at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima.  She was born March 31, 1941 in Savannah, Georgia to the late James Foster and Nola Bee (McCluskey) Foster.

On October 4, 1956, Barbara married Frank L. Lee and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2010.

Barbara is survived by sons; Keith Lee of Sidney, Kevin Lee of Sidney, Kelly (Twilah) Lee of Sidney, Kendall (Sonia) Lee of Camp Springs, Maryland, twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren and brother, Stephen (Carolyn) Foster of Cridersville, Ohio.

Barbara was employed at Stolle Corporation in Sidney for twenty four faithful years. She also worked at LeRoy Corporation in Sidney.  She helped and assisted with the elderly in Sidney for many years.  Barbara attended the Russell Road Church and enjoyed spending her time there.  She was also a member of the Mt. Zion House of Prayer in Sidney. Barbara was a very devoted Christian woman who walked with God. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kelly Lee officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sidney/Shelby County Black Achievers Fellowship in Barbara’s memory.
