Welburn Hamilton

Welburn “Bill” Hamilton, age 83 of Sidney, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. He was born January 1, 1935 in Westbourne, Tennessee to father York Hamilton and mother Earsie Leffew and they preceded him in death. He married the love of his life, Jo Anne (Bellamy) Hamilton on May 28, 1955 and she preceded him in death on June 13, 2015.

Welburn is survived by James (Lisa) Hamilton, Regina (Tom) Luthman, Rick (Mila) Hamilton, Timothy Hamilton, Jeffery Hamilton, all of Sidney; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; sister Barbara Ford of Jacksboro, Tennessee; brother and sister-in-law James (Arlene) Bellamy of Cicero, Indiana; sister-in-law Virginia Bellamy of the Philippines. He was preceded in death by daughter Gina Dianne Hamilton and brother James Hamilton.

Welburn retired from Stole Corporation in 1997 after 43 years of faithful service. He loved to bowl, hunt, fish, garden, and cut grass. He loved being around his children and grandchildren.

Family and friends may call Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, Ohio, 45365. Dr. David Chivington will be officiating services. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be expressed online at theadamsfuneralhome.com.
