Sharyn L. (O'Black) Phelps

Sharyn L. Phelps, age 79, of Sidney, passed away April 22, 2018, at her residence.

She was born November 11, 1938, in Lima, to the late John and Ruth (La Fallette’) O’Black.

In 1997, her husband, Jack P. Phelps, preceded her in death.  Her daughter, Cindy Monnier, also preceded her in death.

Sharyn is survived by children; Julie Monnier of Sidney, David Monnier of Sidney, Laurie Ashton of Sidney, Dana Monnier O’Rourke of Sebring, FL., Bruce Phelps of Sidney, step-children; Dave Phelps of Pemberton, Jim Phelps of Sidney, grandchildren; Jack Monnier, Tara Smith, Dustin Rowland, and great grandchildren; Jaydalin Glenn and Addison Smith.

She retired from Copeland Corporation of Sidney after 35 years of faithful service.She enjoyed time spent around campfires and on her front porch swing.  She loved spending time with her children and great grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

There will be no calling hours.  Private graveside services will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family.

The staff of Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
