ROBERT KEITH HUNGATE, age 68, of Anna, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Evansville, IN on October 16, 1949 to the late James Coleman and Martha Helen (Moad) Hungate.
Bob is survived by one daughter: Tammy Lynn Hungate Stoler and her significate other, Tony Batton, of Anna; three grandchildren: Alexys Graham, Brooke Stoler and Christopher James Stoler; and one great granddaughter: Amelia Harris.
Bob proudly served his country as a member of the United State Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of a recon unit and was awarded a Purple Heart, as well as many numerous other commendations. Bob was a 1967 graduate of Sidney High School. He was a member of one of the undefeated football times at SHS. Bob was a member of Highland Post of the American Legion in Anna, VFW Post 4239 in Sidney and a founding member of Shelby County Bass Masters. He was an avid fan of both the Ohio State Football and the Cleveland Browns. Bob loved fishing and building custom made fishing rods and lures for his friends. He enjoyed cooking fish for his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Bob from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney. Immediately following the Celebration of his life, there will be a party at Riverside Edge in Sidney. Everyone is welcome. Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home in Sidney.
