Philip Frasure, Jr., age 88, of Sidney, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. He was born one December 10, 1929 in Langley, KY to the late Philip and Emma (Patton) Frasure, Sr. On September 23, 1950, he married Beulah Hawkins. She survives.
Philip is also survived by children: Philip G. and Linda (Gephart) Frasure of Troy, Gregory and Candy (Hildebrand) Frasure of Bellefontaine and Steven and Dawn (Shutte) Frasure and Mark and Lisa (Burks) Frasure, all of Sidney; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two sisters: Ellen Reffett and Dora Allen, both of Langley, KY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson: Philip Thomas "Pete"; six brothers and one sister.
Philip was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Copeland Corporation after 27 years. He loved being outdoors, doing yard work, his flowers and his dogs. Philip had a very powerful singing voice and enjoyed singing. His biggest love in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Tim Bartee officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Garden in Sidney. Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
