Edward T Burden

Edward T. Burden (Ed), age 63 of Botkins, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018. He was born July 9, 1955 in Sidney, Ohio to father Richard Burden who preceded him in death and mother Virginia Steinke Burden who survives in Botkins. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Fuerst Burden whom he married on November 30, 1974.

Edward is survived by children Daniel (Ginger) Burden of Sidney; grandchildren Peyton Jones, Damien Jones, Andrea Burden, Leah Burden, Thomas Burden, Aiden Burden; siblings Elaine (Marcus) Taylor of Bellefontaine, Mary Ann (Robert) Hall of Convoy, Ohio, John (Deb) Burden of Orlando, Florida, Billy (Marleen) Burden of Pleasant Hills, Ohio, Carol (Van) Martin of Leesville, Louisiana, Donald (Terrie Conaway) Burden of Lima, Ohio, Robert (Lucille) Burden of West Liberty, Ohio; he was preceded in death by grandson Alexander Shoup; daughter Mandy Burden Shoup; son Edward Burden II; son-in-law Shane Shoup. 

Edward was a member of the Eagles 691 in Wapakoneta, Knights of Columbus in Wapakoneta, and a member of Immaculate Conception in Botkins. He retired from Sunrise Elevator Company in Botkins after 44 years, and retired from Botkins Fire Department after 40 years. He loved deer hunting, Ohio State Football, playing cards, and he loved spending time with his friends, family, and grandchildren.

Friends and family may call Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 4 PM - 7PM at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Botkins, Ohio with Reverend Sean Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
