Dorothy Ellen Houser

Dorothy Ellen Houser, age 83 of Sidney, was called into the arms of her heavenly Father on August 28, 2018. She was born April 24, 1935 in Belle Center, Ohio. She graduated from Ada High School in Ada, Ohio where she spent a good part of her life before moving to Sidney in 1985.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Vaughn and Ruth (Brown) Houser and sister Virginia Alice Bogart. She is survived by sister Susan (William) Alexander of Georgetown, Texas; Sylvia (Larry) Carey of Huntsville, Ohio; brother-in-law Steven Bogart of Sidney, Ohio and former brother-in-law Tony Perrine; three nieces, two nephews, and five great nieces.

Family and friends may call Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home with services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center, Ohio.

Dorothy will be sadly missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her, including the children at Kiddieland who fondly called her, “Miss Dorothy.” Condolences may be expressed online at theadamsfuneralhome.com.
