Clyde E. Adkins, age 83 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018. He was born October 19, 1935 in Meadowview, Virginia to the late Marion Adkins and Eliza (Morrison) Adkins. He married Eunice (Buck) Adkins and she survives.
Clyde is survived by children Barbara Miracle of Sidney; Michael Adkins of Irvine, CA; Rita Mikesell of Columbus; grandchildren Lisa Adkins Hicks, Lee Miracle, Justin Mikesell, Chris Miracle, Jon Miracle, Craig Miracle, Kieran Adkins; twelve great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and sister Betty Tremble of Sidney. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amy Mikesell, and one brother, Paul Adkins.
Clyde served in the U.S. Army National Guard faithfully for many years. He retired from Stolle’s after 22 years of service, and he also worked for Miller-Meteor in Piqua for 13 years. He enjoyed music of all kinds, taking walks, playing the lottery, and was a food connoisseur. He loved spending time with his family.
Family and friends may call Friday, January 4, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m with Pastor Josh Morgan officiating. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
