Carlos Eugene "CJ" White

Carlos Eugene “CJ” White, 58, of  Sidney, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Lima Memorial Health System.

He was born on July 5, 1960, in Sidney, the son of the late Lee J. Johnson and Bertha (White) Jones, who survives in Sidney. On January 1, 1986, he married Brenda (Fay) White, who preceded him in death on December 23, 1999.

Carlos is survived by his four children; Carlos Eugene White of Oakland, CA,Tionna Levette White of Toledo, Aryanna Tyanne Christine White of Springfield and James Howard Daniel of

Wolcott, IN; nine siblings, Curtis Johnson of Sidney, Gerald (Crystal) Johnson of Westerville, OH, Roxanne Johnson of Sidney, Timothy McCorvey and Terry McCorvey, both of Columbus, Troy McCorvey of Toledo, Dawn (Curtis) Everett of Sidney, Stacey White of Sidney, and Charles White of Columbus; special mom, Kay McCorvey; special cousins, Craig White and Charles Stockton; special friends, Kenny Lee and Larry Franklin.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Johnson and Rita Johnson, and his father, Lewis McCorvey.

Carlos was a graduate of Sidney High School Class of 1978. He went on to serve in the United States Navy from 1980 – 1986. Carlos was employed at Conform Fiber in Sidney. He enjoyed watching football and basketball.  He was a big San Francisco 49’er fan. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 11 – 1:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Willy McGee and Alameda Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery with full military honors performed by American Legion Post 217.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral costs.
