WILLIAM JR “BILL” LUDWIG, age 81 of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Sidney Care Center in Sidney. He was born on June 2, 1935 in Anna to the late William Peter and Doris (Martin) Ludwig. On February 21, 1960, he married Ruth (Hughes) Ludwig and she survives.
Bill is also survived by one son: William Eugene (Sylvina) Ludwig of Sidney; two stepsons: Marvin Leroy Norris of Piqua and David Ray (Brenda) Norris of Minster; sixteen grandchildren: and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Julia Ludwig; one son: Franklin Kenneth Schaffer; two sisters; and nine brothers.
Bill was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Air Stream in Jackson Center. Bill loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, camping, mowing grass, gardening and landscape.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Christian Baptist Church, 608 S. Miami Street, Sidney, OH. Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home in Sidney. Dinner will be provided after the service at the church.
