Wanda Genevieve (Fagan) Shroyer

WANDA GENEVIEVE (FAGAN) SHROYER, age 91, of Sidney, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017.  She was born on July 23, 1925 in Sidney to the late Charles Raymond and Leona Lucille (Shaffer) Fagan  On August 16, 1944, she married Clark Emerson Shroyer.  He preceded her in death on January 18, 1986.

Wanda is survived by her children: Harold and Marilyn Argabright of Houston, Bernard and Ruby Argabright of Lockington, Linda Waltz of Sidney, Larry and Jeanne Scott of Covington, Charles and Janet Shroyer of Maplewood, Jim and Shirley Spalding of Lexington, KY, Tony and Debby Sherman of Maplewood; eighteen grandchildren and thirty nine great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Wallace Fagan and Jerome Fagan; one sister: Gwen Fagan Barnes; one daughter Janice Elaine Shroyer; one grandson: Dwayne Rhoads; and great grandchildren: Trenton Sherman, Hope Bunch, Autumn Felver, Damian Sherman and Scott Sherman.

Wanda attended Hardin United Methodist Church, Maplewood United Methodist Church and Lockington United Methodist Church.  She was very humble and loved everyone.  Wanda enjoyed flower gardening, counted cross stitch and doing puzzles.  Today, Wanda is walking the streets of gold with her husband, Clark, and her Savior Jesus Christ.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Rev. Bill Halter and Rev. Jack Chalk officiating.  Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.  Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
