Virgil D. Timeus, 99, of 12811 Ft. Loramie Swanders Road, Sidney, Ohio, died Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Fair Haven Nursing Home. He was born March 1, 1916 in Swanders, OH to Andrew Timeus and Maude Staley Timeus.
He is survived by nephews and nieces: Ed and Veronica Counts, Anna, OH; David and Caroline Counts, Botkins, OH; Delores Shaffer, Maplewood, OH; and Ed and Juanita Wical, Sidney, OH.
Virgil was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Timeus and Roscoe Timeus and one sister, Erma Counts.
He was a faithful member of the St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church of Anna, Ohio where he never missed a service.
He was a retired farmer for over 40 years.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th, 2015 at 10am at the Pearl Cemetery, with the Reverend Michael Althanser officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials may be given in Virgil’s name to the St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, Anna, Ohio.
