Stephen W. DeWeese

Stephen W. DeWeese, 57 of Sidney passed away Tuesday July 5, 2016 at his residence. He was born December 25, 1958 in Urbana, OH to the late Clifford & Geneva (Powell) DeWeese.

Mr. DeWeese proudly served in the United States Army during Desert Storm, he later retired from Emerson Electric in Sidney, Ohio. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Sidney, OH.

On March 5, 1989 he married Christine (Harlan) DeWeese and she survives; as well as daughters Layla Tooker of Mechanicsburg, OH and Amanda (Bertoni) Morales Perez of Sidney, OH; sons Jonthan Knapp of Columbus, OH, Dustin (Cassie) DeWeese of Columbus, OH and Clifford DeWeese of Ft. Worth, TX; numerous grandchildren; sister Ruth (Jim) Barton of Marysville, OH; best friend Robert Oliver of West Liberty, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by sisters: Wilma DeWeese, and Barbara Graham; brothers Paul and Joe DeWeese.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 7, 2016 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at The Adams Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held Friday July 8, 2016 at 10am at First Church of the Nazarene (1899 Wapakoneta Ave Sidney, OH 45365) with Pastor Joshua Morgan officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery (Springfield, OH) with full military honors.
