Stephanie Dawn (Bryan) Powers

Stephanie Dawn (Bryan) Powers, age 56, passed away July 26, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH. 
Stephanie was born on May 3, 1961 in Lewisburg, TN to Mary Imogene (Corbin) Bryan. She grew up in Leipsic, OH and lived in Ottawa, OH until she married Jeffery Powers on June 2, 2001 and moved to Sidney, OH. 

She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Powers of Sidney, OH; her two daughters: Cari Frances Bryan of Campbell, CA and Amanda (Adrian) Nicole Castellanos of Maplewood, OH; and grandchildren: Amber Ballard (granddaughter), Alyssa Castellanos (granddaughter), Reece Smith (grandson), Allyna Smith (granddaughter) and Maryssa Smith (granddaughter). She is also survived by her older brother, Tim (Tammy) Bryan of Lewisburg, TN; her younger sister Seletha McClarren of Ottawa, OH; and her younger brother, Michael (Christine) Bryan of Providence, RI. 

Stephanie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. The love she had for her children and grandchildren was truly unconditional. She loved traveling and her favorite place to visit was Hawaii. She also enjoyed staying in Amish Country with family, strolling through the shops and admiring their craftsmanship. In the evenings, she enjoyed long drives in the country with her husband, where she loved looking for deer on the countryside. Her favorite season was Spring,  when the purple lilac bushes bloomed. There was nothing more heavenly to her, than the smell of fresh lilacs. Above all though, she loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is proceeded in death by her mother, Mary Imogene (Corbin) Bryan; her infant grandson, Caleb Scott Michel; her infant sister, Sheri Michelle Bryan; her older brother, Darrell Bryan and her younger brother, Craig Bryan.
  
Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Tim Bartee officiating.  Friends may pay there respects from 6-8 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.  Friends may express their condolences at www.theadamsfuneralhome.com.
