STACEY L. RITTER, age 42, of Dayton, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.  She was born on August 17, 1974 in Sidney.

Stacy graduated from Hardin-Houston School District and was a star athlete in basketball, track and cross county.  She broke many school and Shelby County League records.  Stacey went on to play college basketball at Rio Grande University and Robert Morris University, which is a Division 1 college.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and went on to co-found a sports fund raising business.  Stacey loved sports, her friends and her family.

Stacey is survived by her mother and father: Linda (Carey) and Tony Ritter of Sidney; one brother: Wesley Ritter of Lebanon, TN; one nephew: Cole Ritter; two nieces: Savannah and Autumn Ritter; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by grandparents: Ed and Dorothy Ritter and Richard and Pauline Carey.

Stacey was loved by all who had the pleasure of getting to know her.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney with Rev. Linda Dulin Moore.  Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Lockington.  Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
