Shirley A. Phelps, 88, passed away on October 3, 2016. She was born on June 17, 1928 in Union County, Ohio to Carroll and Kathryn (Wilgus) McCully . She was formerly of Pemberton and Dayton, Ohio and Panama City Beach, Florida.
She married Junnie Phelps in October 1946. She was a homemaker and clerk at Uhlman's, She became postmaster of the Pemberton Post Office until she retired. Her love of travel took her all over the world. She leaves behind beloved communities in Ohio and Panama City Beach.
She is preceded in death by her husband Junnie Phelps, son Byron, siblings Rubert & Dora McCully and Phyllis Jaucquin. She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Ed) Loveless, granddaughter Heather Wood, step-grandsons Brad (Stacey) Loveless, Scott Loveless and great granddaughters Ashley, Kaleigh, and Jenna Loveless, and other family Holmes Bell, Sue and Charles Nolin, and Chuck and Debi Wood and a multitude of nieces and nephews and their children.
Graveside service will be held at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco, OH on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11 am. Rev Darcy Dill will officiate. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home 1401 Fair Rd, Sidney, OH 45365.
