RUTH A. HOLLER, age 74, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. She was born on May 9, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Walter Edward Carroll and Ann B. Edwards.
Ruth is survived by 3 children: Jimmie and Sherry Haynes of Sarasota, FL, Dan and Tammie Gibson of Troy, Heather Hirschfeld of Troy; significant other: Shawn Petitjean of Sidney; one sister: Donna Smith of Sidney, ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
Ruth enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a diehard fan of the Pittsburg Steelers. She retired from Hydro Aluminum in Sidney.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH with Rev. John Young officiating. Burial will follow in Pearl Cemetery in Sidney. Friends may call from 10:00-11:30 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
