Russell Lenhart, Jr., age 85, of Sidney , passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. He was born on August 30, 1931 in Shelby County, OH to Russell Lenhart, Sr. and Ruby Ludlum Lenhart.
Russell is survived by two sisters; Dorothy Renner of Sidney, OH; Betty Neer of Sidney, OH; brother; Jerry Lenhart of Anna, OH; son-in-law Danny Hair of Somerset, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell Lenhart, Sr. and Ruby Ludlum Lenhart; daughter Daphne Hair; son Billy Lenhart.
Russell served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and was retired from the City Of Sidney . He was a member of the Sidney American Legion Post 217, AmVets Post 1986 and Sidney Eagles.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Pearl Cemetery , Swanders , OH .
