ROSALIE MAE O’ROCK, age 77, of Piqua, passed away at her daughter’s residence in Huber Heights on Saturday, September 24, 2016. She was born in Lena on September 9, 1939 to the late Jessie and Alta (Weatherhead) Poorman.
Rosalie is survived by her children: Vickie Barton of Kettering, David (Valeria) Barton of Troy, Tina (Abby Ralston) Barton of Huber Heights, Gary Barton of Piqua, Tracy Runyon of KY and Belinda (Jeff Gowen) Perry of KY; grandchildren: Jessie Brewer, Nikkie Runyon, Mikhel Runyon, Rachel Runyon, Christina Perry, Angel Barton, David Barton, Jr., and Destiny Barton; many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Robert Barton; and one granddaughter: Tiffany Barton.
Rosalie was a member of Piqua Church of the Nazarene. She loved bingo, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Rosalie was an avid fan of the Young and the Restless for many years.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Piqua Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Lincoln Robinson officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home, 1402 Fair Road, Sidney, OH 45365.
