Roberta Lee "Bobbie" (Brinninger) Omlor

ROBERTA LEE “BOBBIE” OMLOR, age 78, 0f Sidney, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by her family.  She was born on May 20, 1938 in Bellevue, OH to the late Lester and Loretta (Keough) Brinninger.  ON November 25, 1961, she married Earl Charles Omlor, Jr.  He preceded her in death on April 24, 2001.

Bobbie is survived by three children: Steven (Diana) Omlor and John (Kimberley) Omlor, all of Sidney, and Kevin (Stephanie) Keener of Maplewood; six grandchildren: Nathan, Mikey, Kylie, Timmy, Scotty and Terry “TJ”; and two great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one sister: Sheila Cantrell.

Bobbie’s first love was her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also loved being with her dog, Dana.  Bobbie enjoyed doing puzzles and reading, especially romance novels.  She was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State University sports fan.  A special thanks goes out to her longtime, loyal friends, Alma and Perry Long.  They checked in on Roberta on a regular basis and enjoyed taking her places with them.  Bobbie had worked for 32 years at Wilson Health in Sidney before retiring, some of those years with Alma.  She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.

Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 10:30 Am on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney with Rev. Fr. James J. Riehle as Celebrant.  Burial will be in Pearl Cemetery in Swanders.  Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.
