Robert F. “Bob” Brown, age 68, of Sidney, passed away March 12, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at his residence.
He was born November 1, 1949 in Lima, Ohio, to Robert O. and Martha Jane (Bollinger) Brown.
Bob is survived by son, Robert M. (Michelle) Brown of Wapakoneta, grandson, Zachery Brown, special friend, Charles Schetter and his ex-wife, Marcia J. Brown of Wapakoneta, brother, James (Marlene) Brown of Harrod, Ohio, and sister, Karen (Larry) Henschen of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by brother, Richard Brown and sister, Ann O’Rourke.
Bob was in the US Air Force in Vietnam, serving in Thailand. He was a member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney. Bob retired from Voss Honda in Tipp City and Honda of America in Anna, Ohio. He enjoyed talking politics with his friends and spending precious time with his grandson and family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Father Frank Amberger officiating. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Bob’s memory.
