I'm praying for comfort for Wendy Maddox Ronnie and Ricky. I can still him say when I walk in his home with his dad he would get out of his chair come and hug me and say I love you aunt Gerri. Here you can have my seat such a thoughtful and sweet caring nephew that I love unconditionally. I miss you but you are in the arms of your sweet and wonderful mommy and brother Lil Ronnie. That you love and missed so much. RIH my sweet baby Robbie. Miss but never forgotten. I love you aunt Gerri

Robert will be sorely missed. As we were writing notes and trying to remember names and spelling others,with very little if any sleep through tired eyes, I overlooked writing down the living man he called Dad, my Brother Ronnie Waldroop. I also see I had forgotten to mention his uncle Darrell Cross who preceded him in death. I'm sure there must have been others overlooked. I apologize. There were so many people gathered around and lots of confusion. There were precious children playing and as you could imagine, through tired grief stricken eyes, I'm not sure who all may have been left out. I hope for the recovery of all the broken hearts left in the wake of this tragedy. I pray for the comfort of all involved, all relatives, friends and loved ones. I am yet to hear one negative thing about my dear nephew Robert, past or present. I will never forget that sheepish grin and mild mannered kid. Although he was just 36, I remember that 3 month old nephew that crawled into my arms as a youth in diapers. All the years of his life, I can't recall a parting moment without hearing, "Love ya uncle Sam" Those were the last words I heard him say on the phone. I close this paragraph with... "Love ya Robert", What a beautiful soul missed here on Earth. Now he rests in the arms of our Savior.
