PEGGY M. RISK, age 72, of Fairborn, formerly of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on January 2, 1945 in Columbus to the late Wardner and Betty (Bazill) Swartz. On October 18, 1980, she married Jim Risk and he survives.
Peggy is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Deron and Regina Detwiler of Greenfield, OH; one granddaughter: Danica Detwiler; one brother: Kenny Swartz of Indian Lake; and two sisters: Beverly (John) Dudek of VA and Jane (Chris) Kah of Wapakoneta.
Peggy was a 1963 graduate of Jackson Center High School. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sidney. Peggy taught dancing and twirling to many students over the years with the Tamettes. She took her students to Notre Dame, Disneyworld and Disneyland, to name just a few of the places they performed.
Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Linda Dulin Moore officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 - 4:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
