Mildred "Milly" J. (Spaw) Arnold

Mildred J. “Milly” Arnold, age 70, of Sidney, passed away March 8, 2017 surrounded by her family at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 13, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Harold and Mae (Harrison) Spaw. On October 26, 1973, she married Ray Arnold Jr. and he survives in Sidney.

Milly is survived by son Ray Arnold III of Columbus Grove, Ohio, grandchildren; Kacey Flaute and Laura Flaute, great grandchildren; Tyler Chinn, Caleb Pryor, siblings; Hal (Carol) Spaw of Erlanger, KY., Jim (Connie) Spaw of Erlanger, KY., and Bridget Junker of Union, KY.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Gina Flaute, son, Tony Arnold, granddaughter, Sarah Flaute, sisters, Linda Elstun, Jackie Spaw, and brother, Pat Spaw.  

Milly was a member of the VFW Post #4239 of Sidney.  She was retired from Wilson Health where she was employed as a Secretary in the Emergency Room.  She loved riding motorcycles with her husband, playing bingo and Texas Holdem and shopping with her friends.

Family and friends may visit from 10-12 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Klopfenstein officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., 960 Kingsmill Parkway, Columbus, Ohio 43229 in Mildred’s memory.
