Michael Keith Fultz

Michael Keith Fultz, 54, of Sidney, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11:44am at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  He was born on September 26, 1961 in Sidney, Ohio to Teresa Beck Fultz and Bill Fultz. He was preceded in death by his father.

On May 16, 1992 in Woodbridge, Virginia, he married Pamela J. Werner, who survives, along with his beloved children Kevin Fultz of Sidney and Amanda (Chris) Stalnaker and grandchildren Skylar and Ian of St. Leonard, MD. He is also survived by siblings Scott (Luann) Fultz and Rick (Deb) Fultz of Sidney, Lori Fultz of Gilbert, AZ and Sherri Fultz of Toledo, OH, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael Keith retired from the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority Police Department in 2008 after 25 years of service and then moved back to his hometown of Sidney, Ohio. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding his bike, taking long walks, fishing, crabbing, playing cards, taking cruises – especially to Bermuda. He was a very social and outgoing person and was quick to share a smile or start a conversation. He enjoyed volunteering at the Shelby County Animal Shelter and helping with youth events at Sidney First United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH on Tuesday, April 19th from 5pm to 8pm.  A Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 20th at 11am at Sidney First United Methodist Church, 230 E. Poplar in Sidney, OH with the Rev. Eileen Hix officiating.
