Loyd L. Wolfe, age 79, of Sidney, passed away peacefully July 19, 2017, at the Sidney Care Center, Sidney.
He was born February 4, 1938 in Camdon, Ohio, to the late Lafe and Dorothy Ann (Moir) Wolfe. He was married to Mary A. (Brussell) Wolfe and she survives in Sidney.
Loyd is survived by daughter, Delores (Brown)Wolfe of Greenville, sons; Loyd Wolfe Jr. of Greenville, Mark Wolfe and Clifford Wolf of Dublin, GA., David Wolfe of Greenville, step-son, Joseph L. Wilbur and friend Debra S. Nixon of Sidney, 15 grand children and 21 great grandchildren.
Loyd was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Sidney. He was retired from Minster Machine in Minster. He was an outdoorsman and loved to fish, play the game of Aggravation and enjoy time with his extended family.
Friends and family may call on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Vincent Waters, officiating. Internment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.
