Katriz Marie (McLellan) Dilworth

Katriz Marie (McLellan) Dilworth 38 of Anna Ohio went to be with the Lord on May 11th 2016 as a result of a tragic car accident. She was born in Waterville Maine on March 11, 1978 the daughter of Cornell and Marjorie McLellan.

Katriz attended school in Corinna, Maine and Fairfield Maine graduating from Lawrence High School with the class of 1996.  She had several jobs including operating an ice cream truck in Maine during the summer, to being a security guard at Autoliv in Aurora Colorado where she met her husband Michael Dilworth, to working at Cinemark movie theatre in Piqua Ohio, where she sold tickets.  As a child, Katriz belonged to the girl scouts. She grew up to be a kind, free spirited young women that loved sports, the arts, traveling, online gaming and raising her daughter Emma and spending time with her best friend Mandy Miller. Everywhere she went she had a friend and if she didn’t she made a new one. Everybody loved her! She always brought the sunshine, as she would say.  Katriz loved animals of all kinds but was especially fond of her two dogs, a Siberian Husky Yukon and German Shepard Macy May.  When home in Maine visiting she couldn't wait to go to camp with her favorite fishing buddy Uncle George and Aunt Nicole Campbell.  Most of all, her life revolved around her daughter Emma. Everything she did was for Emma. She was her reason for living. Until her death she did a great job raising the most loving, compassionate and beautiful young woman.

Katriz is survived by her father and stepmother Cornell and Judy McLellan of Newport Maine, Her mother, Marjorie McLellan of Waterville Maine. Katriz leaves behind a daughter Emma Dilworth and her father Michael Dilworth, companion to Katriz, both of Ohio. She also leaves behind a sister Michelle Beaulieu and husband Daniel; a brother Brian Woodbury II and wife Rita; Brothers Tim Reazor, and Brian Reazor and wife Elizabeth. Several aunts and uncles; Betty and Ralph Bartlett, Sally Gerrish, Elsie and Doug Hillman, Mary Dixon, George and Nicole Campbell, Lawrence McLellan, Ricky and Susan Rollman, several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She also leaves behind the Dilworth family in Ohio, which loved her dearly like she was their own blood, including father in law Phillip Dilworth, mother in law Angela Hensley and all of the extended family members. Special regards to her roommate Katherine Arnett and her family as well, who became close to Katriz in recent years.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Lilly Toal of Sidney Ohio for being by her side the night of the accident until medical help arrived.

Celebration of Life will be held locally on June 10th from 2pm-4pm at Adams Funeral Home located 1401 Fair Road, Sidney Ohio.  The family will also hold a Celebration of Life services will be held on May 27th from 2pm-4pm at Lawry Brother’s Funeral Home located 107 Main Street Fairfield Maine for her family and friends there.
