Jane L. (Gerstner) Keller

Jane L. (Gerstner) (Sloan) Keller, age 86, of Sidney, entered into heaven on September 6, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on December 18, 1929 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Frank and Helen (Applegate) Gerstner.

Jane was married to John Sloan who is deceased and also Robert Keller Sr. who preceded her in death.

She is survived by children; Kay Sloan of Sidney, John (Glytanna) Sloan of Jackson Center, Randy (Ann) Sloan of Sidney, Becky (Tim) Musser of Sidney, James Sloan and finace’ Rebecca Moeller of Sidney, many step-children, grandchildren; Joslin Lee, Kylie Huber, Michael Sloan, Michelle Mantor, Beth Smith, Randi Marie Shank, Josha Sloan, Ben Musser, Tim Musser, Jr., Angela Marchese, Mindy Wombacher, Stephaine Sloan, Scott Sloan, and (21) great grandchildren.  

Jane was preceded in death by son, Don Sloan, siblings; Forrest (Bud) Gerstner, Beth Ellen Schmidt, Pat Hulcher, and Larry Gerstner.

Jane was very active in the Sidney First United Methodist Church.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Sidney First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jane Madden and Barbara Staley officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memorial Gardens in Sidney.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sidney First United Methodist Church in Jane’s memory.

The staff of Adams Funeral Home has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
