HELEN L. WILSON, age 97, of Minster, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Dorothy Love Retirement Center in Sidney. She was born in Salem (Montgomery County), OH, to the late John T. and Gertrude Cruea Creager. She married Harold V. Wilson in 1942. He preceded her in death in 2005.
Helen is survived by one daughter Carol (Glenn) Lytle of Troy; two grandchildren: Stephanie (Ray) Voelker of Oakwood, OH and Jennifer (Scott) Weaver of Upper Arlington, OH; and three great grandchildren: Elise Voelker, Zoe Weaver and Max Weaver. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister: Dorothy Robey.
Helen was a member of Anna United Methodist Church. She was a stenographer in the Camp Fire Girls office in Dayton. Helen loved sewing, crafts, and talking about her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Rev. Randy Locker officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery in Brookville, OH on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
