Goldie A (Fisher) North

Goldie A. North, age 36, and her  daughter, Luana Lou North, age 3, died on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in a tragic house fire at their residence.

Goldie was born on July 23, 1980 in Sidney to Raymond Fisher of Wapakoneta and the late Linda (Stems) Fisher.  On July 2, 2005, Goldie married Robb North.  The two of them were blessed on January 22, 2013 with a daughter, Luana.

In addition to Robb and Goldie’s dad, Goldie and Luana are survived by Goldie’s siblings; Soloman Fisher and Blasius Fisher, both of Wapakoneta, Kathleen Fisher  of Cincinnati and Rose Fisher, grandparents; Patti Cotterman of Piqua and Gary North of Sidney, great grandparents; Art and Kate (Ahrens) Fisher of Wapakoneta, great grandmother, Ruby Cool of Greenville, and many aunts and uncles.

Goldie was a 1998 graduate of both Botkins High School and Upper Valley JVS. Luana attended Shelby Hills Preschool.  Goldie enjoyed doing plastic carvings.  She was employed at Mama Rosa’s in Sidney. Luana enjoyed her fish tank, playing bubble guppies, and she loved her stuffed animals. They both attended Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney with Rev. Frank Amberger officiating. Burial will be at Fryburg Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit on Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church and/or Right To Life in memory of Goldie and Luana.
