Franklin E. Wyer, 66, a resident of Sidney passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Fair Haven Shelby County Home, Fair Road, Sidney.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeannie Moore Wyer, a daughter, Kristi (Lance) Vonderhuevel of Piqua, Ohio, son-in-law, Shawn Dulaney of Sidney, and grandsons, Nathan, David and Aiden.
Other survivors include a brother, Tom (Debbie) Wyer of Sidney, sisters, Kathy (Rande) Martin of Richmond, Indiana and Margie (Daniel) Reising of Dayton, Ohio along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by this daughters, Juliet Wyer and Katy Dulaney, and his parents Max and Jo (Stockstill) Wyer.
Franklin was an Army Vietnam War veteran and a former employee of the Stolle Corporation and Fogt's Water Conditioning.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4239 of Sidney and the Sidney American Legion, Post 217.
Franklin loved boating, water skiing, traveling and spending time with his family.
Viewing will be held at the Adams Funeral Home, Sidney on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sidney at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Oates officiating.
Burial will follow at the Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney.
