Evelyn M. Moorman, age 78, of 972 S. Children’s Home Road, Sidney, passed away peacefully November 13, 2015 at Fair Haven Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn was born March 11, 1937 in North Star, Ohio to the late Raymond and Matilda (Hoehne) Homan.
She was married on November 9, 1957 to Jerome Lee Moorman and he preceded her in death September 4, 2010.
She is survived by children; Randy Moorman, Sandy Moorman, Chris Moorman, Julie Sharp and late husband Tim Sharp of Sidney, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, siblings; Jeanette Walls and late husband, Gene Walls of Mendon, OH., Betty (Leonard) Jutte of Rockford, OH., DellaMae (Vic) Rosenbeck of MI., Ray (Carol) Homan of Anna, OH., Shirley (Jim) Clark of St. Marys, OH., Dennis Homan of FL., and Linda (Preston) Boardwine of McCartyville, OH.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Moorman.
Evelyn was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She was formerly employed by Stolle Products of Sidney and the US Government performing surveys of Medicaid patients.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sidney, with Pastor Jim Riehle officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5 –7 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home.
