Eugene Amburgey, Jr.

EUGENE “BUD” AMBURGEY, JR., age 62, from Sidney, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Wilson Health in Sidney.  He was born on March 24, 1955 in Shelby County, OH to the late Eugene and Ora (Potter) Amburgey.  On May 28, 1977, he married Patty Magato and she survives.

Bud is also survived by his children: Angel Fitzpatrick of Conover, Andre and Annette Gordon, Chadwick Amburgey, and Adam and Nicole Snider, all of Sidney; siblings: Linda Barger of Martin, KY, Solletta Miranda of TN and Charley and Tammy Amburgey of Garrett, KY; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Phillip Eugene Amburgey; and one sister: Kathy Amburgey.

Bud was a mechanic at Sears and also worked at Stolle.  He enjoyed fishing, cars, boating, tinkering with tractors, and most of all music.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 26, 2017, at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Rev. Ernie Jones officiating.  Burial will be Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.  Friends may come from 4:00 – 8:00 on Thursday at the funeral home.
