Eleanor J. Colvin, age 86, formerly of Hawthorne, FL, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the Pavilion Rehab and Nursing Center in Sidney.
She was born in West Mansfield, OH on August 19, 1930, to the late Orva and Eva (Shontz) Stanley. Eleanor was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Colvin; brothers: Merrill Stanley, Roe Stanley, Richard Stanley and sister: Mabel Painter, all of Logan County.
Eleanor was a dedicated member of the Hawthorne, FL, First Baptist Church prior to moving to Sidney, OH to be closer to her daughter. She retired as co-owner, along with her husband, from C & W Sales in Urbana, OH.
Eleanor is survived by her children: Dan (Kathleen) Rogckhold, Brush Prairie of WA, Julie (Larry) Music of Sidney, OH and Walter (Kay) Rockhold of Deleon Springs, FL; grandchildren: Chris Rockhold of Wichita, KS, Lynn Rockhold of Seattle, WA and Heather McClain of Sidney, OH; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will take place at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery, West Mansfield, OH, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adams Funeral Home in Sidney, OH.
