Diana Sharrock

Diana Mary Sharrock age 75 passed away peacefully Friday April 13 at the Sanctuary At Tuttle Crossing, Dublin OH. 

Born August 1st 1942 in Sidney, OH to Winnifred Wonderly Slusser and Daniel "Doc" Slusser, both who preceded her in death. Her husband and soul mate John "Mark" Sharrock preceded in her in death December of 2014. She is survived by daughter Carla (Hal) Epler, son Dan (Tammie Pitts), grandchildren Lindsey, Chloee, Gauge, JD, Max, and Gabe, her sister in law Mary Worsham, nieces Janice (Paul), Mary, Lesia, Julie (Jake) and several wonderful close friends.

Diana was a 1960 graduate of Sidney High School, a life long member of Sidney First United Methodist Church and a retiree from Copeland/Emerson. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Sweet Adelines for a number of years. She and Mark both served as volunteer EMTs for the Shelby County Life Squad in the ealry 80's. Diana also loved to sew, cook, fish and camp. She and Mark both attended Sidney High School athletic events as often as they could and as many of the grandchildren's Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Football games and track meets as possible.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Sanctuary who loved and cared for her as their own the last eight months and to the amazing staff at Capital City Hospice who made her transition one of  dignity peace and serenity through their compassionate, loving care.

Calling hours at Adams Funeral Home Tuesday April 24th 10:30 am-12:30 pm, service will follow at 12:30 pm. Burial will be in Ceder Point Cemetery following the service.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.theadamsfuneralhome.com.
