Darrin R. Ihle

Darrin R. Ihle, age 51, of Sidney, passed away November 27, 2017, at the James Cancer Hospital, Columbus.

He was born August 17, 1966 in Sidney, to Richard and (Ruth Middleton) Ihle, and they survive in Minster.

On September 12, 1987, Darrin married Bonnie (Ceyler) Ihle and she survives.

Also surviving are daughters, Kayla Ihle of Sidney, Rachael Ihle of Sidney, sisters; Ann (Alan) Seaton of Anna, Paula (Walter) Conley of New Bremen, father and mother in law, Thomas and Jeanne Ceyler, nieces and nephews; Andrew Seaton of Columbus, Allison (Andy) Kent of Wapakoneta, Alex Seaton of Anna, Walter Conley IV of New Bremen, Laura Conley of New Bremen, Joshua Ceyler of Franklin, Meghan Krystine Painter of Hiram, GA., and many aunts and uncles.

Darrin was a member of St Jacobs Lutheran Church in Anna.  He was a 1984 graduate of Anna High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Electronics Engineering Technology Degree from Devry Institute of Columbus. He was employed as a Group Leader of Systems Software at Crown Equipment in New Bremen.  He was labeled as an inventor and held many patents at Crown Equipment.  He loved watching all sports on TV and was an avid OSU fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor David Westphal, officiating.  Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, in Darrin’s memory.
