Brenda Kathleen (Francis) Scott

BRENDA KATHLEEN SCOTT, age 50, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic.  She was born in Jacksonville, FL on December 18, 1965 to Joe (Sharon) Francis of Piqua and Brenda Sue (Mark) Hammonds Schmiesing of Sidney. 

In addition to her parents and their spouses, Brenda is survived by her brother, Dan Francis (Amy), of Troy; children Ashley Marie Thornton of Dayton, Erick and Tiffany Richmond of Sidney and Howard and Taylor Michelle Walters of Piqua; grandchildren: Marcus Browner and A’Mya Thornton; and step sisters: Tracy (Rob) McVety of Maplewood, Kelly McCullough of Eaton and Melissa Lacy (Aaron) of Sidney.  She was preceded in death by one step brother: Scott Blackford.

Brenda loved to take pictures, loved animals and especially loved her cat, Luckey.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Piqua.  Brenda was a loving homemaker.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 Am on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Friends may call from 4-6 PM on Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH with a service being held at 6:00 PM.
