Billy J. Stephens

Billy J. Stephens, 77, of Sidney, passed away at his residence Tuesday evening February 6, 2018.

He was born July 13, 1940 in Pruden, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father Tom Stephens and mother Lucy (Barry) Stephens, brothers Charles, Lloyd, Floyd, and sister Edith Stephens.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Betty (Fuson) Stephens, son Barry (Sheila) Stephens of Sidney, daughter Beth (Larry) Valentine of Sidney, brother Everett (Janice) Stephens of Sidney, sisters Idella Leach and Rosa King of Dayton, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and lots of friends.

He loved refinishing furniture and going to flea markets. He worked at Leroi Dresser for 36 years before retiring in 2004. He loved spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

 Family and friends may call Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Pastor Tim Bartee will be officiating services Monday February 12, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Adams Funeral Home with burial to follow at Shelby Memory Gardens.
