Beverly J. Miller

Beverly J. Miller, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love Facility in Sidney, Ohio. She was a special woman with a quick wit and a comedic sense of humor. She loved socializing with friends and neighbors and had a keen memory of people she met and their relatives. She believed that any woman that told her age would tell anything, therefore, she was age 29 for most of her life. She was a self-proclaimed twin of Elizabeth Taylor, enjoyed the Andy Griffith Show and thought there wasn’t anything sexier than the broad back of Johnny Cash. Beverly traveled with her sisters singing at county fairs and throughout the state and would awe her children with her yodeling. She was interesting, cantankerous and loving.

Beverly was married to her soulmate, Clarence R. Miller, for 38 years until his death in 1990. Their romance was sustained through inspirational notes left for each other in lunch boxes and on kitchen tables. This bond remained as they buried two infant children together, Stephen and Karen.

Beverly is survived by her loving daughters and support system: Nancy Reeves; Mary (Randall) Jones; Barbara (Mark) Miller; her son, Ray Miller; and daughter, Janet (John) Canady; twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Mackenzie Shay Jones.

The family of Beverly Miller wishes to thank her roommate, Sandy; the nurses, caregivers and staff of Ohio Living Dorothy Love and Hospice for their support, care and love for Beverly.

Funeral services are being held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Adams Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Ohio Living Dorothy Love staff Christmas Fund, Sidney, Ohio or Hospice.
